If you’ve heard of green day, i’m almost confident you like them. Well since their new album American Idiot releases in 3 days, how about we share some feelings. What was your favorite album? What was your favorite song?
Ahhh green day… when I was 14 I really liked them… Remember Dookie? My favorite song on there, I would have to say basket case. Then they released insomniac and I hated it, and haven’t listened to them much since then. Every once in a while I still dig out my Dookie cd though…
Dookie is classic GD. Although I always was partial to “Longview” on that one – gotta love a song purely about, ahem…self gratification. “Basket Case” was cool too, but it just got old fast.
“American Idiot” ain’t too bad and it’s supposedly about a certain president, very insightful. 😀
Ah I forgot about Longview!!:D It WAS funny. I’ll have to check out American Idiot, haven’t heard it yet. Dominated Love Slave was another interesting one, kinda annoying after a bit tho……
I saw them at the Reading Festival here in the UK at the end of August…they headlined on the last night! It went down great…even though for most of it I chose to watch Supergrass instead!
Greenday are pretty good, certainly up there in my list of favourite bands, along with The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N Roses, I think.
As for my favourite song, i’d have to say Minority.
