ParticipantRabidKitten wrote:Oh my gosh Tom, that would be wonderful! *wrinkles her nose up* I odn’t see you as a Champ Kind though. Ah well, heh, you’ll HAVE to let us know if it turns out. And be sure to brush up on your quotable quotes! There’s nothing better than walking around with a “I drank a lava lamp…it wasn’t lava” or a “You’re so wise. You’re like a miniature Buddha, covered with hair.” to a random dog. *purr* Ah yes. Let the fun begin! *cackles*that’s why we thought it’d be fun to do this… we already quote it all the time anyway… we’ve basically got the whole movie memorized. the crowning moment of it all… we’re gonna try to do the Afternoon Delight four-part harmony thing. not sure how well it’ll turn out, but that’s the fun of it.October 29, 2005 at 9:13 pm #132486RabidKitten
ParticipantI would pay money to see that! *laughing* Oh my gosh, that would be the best ever. Tom, you are a card, sir *tips her hat to him*

MemberWell, I’m 14, and I’m still going Trick-Or-Treating with my best friend. (Dressed as a goblin-type creature). I just don’t know when I’ll stop going out. There was last year when that stingy-old-mean-man said my friend and I were too old. Ah well, it’s still a blast. Candy at others expense, that’s what I call fun. *wink*

MemberWell, I think the last time I went was with a friend, we were 17, wore old shirts and paper bags on our heads and took pillow cases out to get our sugar fix. (We even drove ourselves from neighborhood to neighborhood (HOW PRETENTIOUS AND RUDE looking back at it.) There were many people who refused us our candy…still we took in quite a haul. This year I’ve been working and doing things on site to make other people’s Halloweens fun…it’s actually kind of cool 🙂 Have a great one, one and all. And a SPECIAL happy Halloween to our own SAMhain 😉

ParticipantJust carved up our pumpkins today. Found a killer pumpkin stencil site – ZombiePumpkins.com – awesome designs (though you do need to donate at least a couple bucks if you want the actual printable stencil). The site was pretty freaking slow, I just couldn’t pay for it, so I just traced over the preview in Illustrator (let me know if you want a copy of it). I really wanted to make a Jack Skellington pumpkin, but I didn’t like his designs on those and I was too lazy to draw my own, so I went with Animal from the Muppets. It turned out pretty decent, I’ll have to post a pic later (I attached the preview image though).
I’m taking out my little girl and her best friend on halloween, but that’s about it for my halloweening this year. We bought my daughter a killer (read: very freakin expensive) Jasmine outfit for her to wear when we were in Disneyland earlier this year and for some reason we figured she could wear it on Halloween too. Too bad its like -10C here in late October, and Jasmine isn’t really a “warm” costume. Oh well, she’s decided to go with the classic Witch costume instead, much easier to hide layers of warm clothing underneath. At least it’s not going to snow here this year on halloween! Yay!

*blush, smile* That’s sweet of you, Elisa. *hug* I’m sure that I’ll have a fine holiday. Maybe a New Year is just what I needed. And what better way to start the new year off than with a birthday? *waves a flag*
Thanks again, hon…you really made my day.
*By the way, my halloween costume went over really well at the party last night. (was angelina jolie from “Taking Lives”. *smirk* In the end, she pretends to be pregnant and gets stuck in the stomach with scissors.)
Boy, was that weird and hot though. I couldn’t hardly sit down or bend over. Gah, and that was just a pillow and nylons filled with rice. Whoo, can’t imagine the real thing *rubs the back of her neck* Kudos to the mothers, that was hard. *salute*October 31, 2005 at 9:28 am #132490amy_d_g
ParticipantWe finally got around to carving pumpkins yesterday, I did the same thing as Shifter, found a stencil online. My preview pic is attached, I’ll post actual pictures in a day or so. Trick-or-treat is tonight, and my boys (2 and 6) can’t wait!

ParticipantHappy Halloween to everyone. Now it REALLY is Halloween, that’s right, today, right now. I figured someone had to say “Happy Halloween” on the actual day so yeah…Boo! 😮 *screams*
