Hey everybody! It’s been WAAAAYYYYY too quiet here on BBB (especially here in the staff room)! I just thought I’d pop a quick hello and Happy New Year to everybody.

Happy New Year, Doris! (and everyone else lurking out there)
Hope everyone had a good holiday. Mine was good, but busy. I travelled to the east coast to visit family and had quite an adventure. While in NYC I got caught in what they called “Snowpocalypse 2010.” Getting out of NYC to Maine on the 26th was tricky.
I’m back, and enjoying a rainy southern California and getting back into the groove of things.
Over my holiday I was thinking about BigBlueBall and have some ideas to share. One thing for sure, I will be upgrading the forum software in the next two weeks. The conglomeration of old plugins has conspired against us and rendered the forums virtually unusable for IE users (still quite a few out there).
How’s everyone else doing?

Jeff: Definitely jealous of your trip to NY. One day, one day.. I shall go up there.
All is well on my end but keeping busy with work and school as always.
(And yeah, I usually stick to IE as my primary browser and still can’t post on BBB. Always get the following: “The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters.” So I end up posting through Chrome)
Happy New Year to everyone…sorry this is belated. My MVP has been renewed for 2011 (don’t ask me how 😮 but it has) Hopefully my big D will happen this year, otherwise I’m just about ready to jump over the cliff!

Note: I can post on BBB on internet explorer via. quick reply. IE Version 8, Windows Vista. I have no problems when posting through quick reply. Update: Can post via. regular reply with no problems either.
