okay…im having 2 problems…i just switched to AIM 5.5.3539, cause the new AIMutation came out
my 1st problem that just started to occur is that it will randomly take me back from being away when I never tell it to
my second problem, is that when I am away the away message box stays in the taskbar, it used to be able to be gotten rid of and I could pull it up again by clicking the AIM sign in the corner…how can I get it to stay away?
oh, and another thing is I signed onto another sn at the same time and it let me hide the away message box…its just this sn
Go to My AIM > Edit Options > Edit Prefrences. Check the box that says “Hide taskbar button when buddy list is minimized”
okay, I just swtiched back to the old version of AIM and the old version of AIMutation…and the problem is still there…
on the 1st sn I sign on the away message part looks like this and won’t hide:
then if I sign onto a second at the same time the away message box for the second looks like this:
and in the taskbar even when they are both away it looks like this:
the one w/o the away message thing on top is the 1st sn I sign on to
okay…i just tested signing on in the other order and its not that the 1st one I sign on on has that problem…its just that one sn
btw, im also running Otsego and I must be a setting in that….not my others….cause when I ran it w/o otsego it was fine…ahh, this is so annoying….i had otsego b4 and it never did anything odd
