ParticipantYou and your girlfriend should both change your passwords from computers that are known to be safe and virus-free, and then you should both immediately do virus scans of your entire computers (you should refrain from typing passwords until after the virus scan and subsequent removal if necessary). I recommend AVG Free since I’ve found it catches most viruses, but other people have different preferences.
If malware is found, I suggest this method for removal.
If malware is not found, please consider other possibilities discussed in this thread and elsewhere in the Online Privacy, Safety & Security Forum.
Good luck, and welcome to BBB! 😀

MemberI’ve supported Jay Loden’s work for many years, so give his virus removal a whirl as well–on ALL of your computers.
::Virusclean – Jayloden.com::Oh, also…click on START>run and type cmd, then click OK…copy and paste (right click in the black area of the window that opens…keyboard shortcuts for paste won’t work) the following then hit ENTER:
Code:netstat -a -b>c:netstat.txtThis will save a text file log to your C drive of all open connections and what programs are using the connections…run it on the computers you suspect might be compromised by a hacker. Post the text and we’ll see if there are any easy catches. If you get a “Windows – No Disk” error message (I do), some program is looking for something that no longer exists…a fix for that is here (right-click and “save target as”/”save link as”): http://jon8rfc.homeip.net/registry/stopwindowsnodiskerror.reg which will just hide the error window…you can open that file into notepad to see exactly what it is, and you’ll see it’s clean and not doing anything scary.
