The Best setting to use with messenger is No Proxies. Change your connection setting to that and try to connect. If it is still slow connecting then try this setting: Firewall with no Proxies. If this still does not work then I’m not sure what the problem could be.
No problem, also as a side note to my previous post; If you want to use Voice conference services through messenger the only setting this will work under is the no Proxies connection setting. In fact I would recomend this setting even if you have a proxy or a firewall. The only exception to this would be a corporate environment.
