help in reshacker

I have Resource Hacker, and I was going to change the picture on the aim startup thing. I had the right measurments (150×190) and it was a gif image, and I put it in GIFDATA, in the right name and language (name: 103 language: 1033) and then I saved AimRes.dll and loaded aim. It said something like “Image Error. The image ‘c://program files/AIM95/AimRes.dll’ cannot be loaded”

WHAT DO I DO!?

yeah that’ll happen every once in a while, it just means AIM doesnt like you toying with its files and it refuses to load until you give back its original file. basically just play along, and go back to your backup AimRes.dll until it lets you sign on.
then start back up with ResHacker
