Membergo to Add/Remove programs in control panel. Find AOL and click on the Change/remove button. then go to c:/program files/AIM and delte the aim folder. that should completely remove aim from your machine.

ParticipantWell, you could go C:/Program Files/AIM/ and there are some uninstallers in that folder. I think they are called like Uninstall95 and Uninstall AOL instant messenger. If that doesn’t work then make sure you didn’t delete the AIM folder in Program Files before you went to use Add/Remove because if you remove the program folder before using Add/Remove or using the uninstaller things like what happend to you can happen.

MemberTry reinstalling AOL Instant Messanger from http://aim.com . If your uninstaller got crupted, this should fix it by reinstalling the installer file.

MemberNo prob… You could try to contact AIM about this. I think they would be the ones to know the answer to this problem. You can go to their website, I think they have a thing where you can e-mail them questions and stuff.
