Hi,. Just Wondering,. I Have Searched The Forum For This,… But Havent Found It,… When I Log On,.. And Make Myself Visible,……. My Profile Shows Me Offline,….. How Can I Correct This? And Why Does It Happen???
Look under your preferences > privacy. Make sure the line that reads “Allow Yahoo! websites to show when I am online” is not checked.
I think thats probably why its showing. Also I have noticed a lag in that before, where it may take a while for a Yahoo! page to update.

I have also face once probme who is releated to this topic
I am so upset due to once problem,yesterday I was open my Yahoo messanger or login with my once ID suppose ID no:01,I had also add my another I.D(ID no :02) at my ID:01 for sending of messages from another place.Anyhow when i was loging from my ID No:01 so I was confused cuase ID no:02 shown that I am online,but either IDs is my own so how is possible that i am present at ID no:01 so our another ID (ID no:02)who is include at our current messanger shown that we are online….I am so confused1-Is it yahoo messanger fault…?
2-is it due to cache memory….?
I am soooooooooooooo confuse about this problem,pls tell me what is this….?My once buddy told me that this is common problems who face many peoples,Is it really yahoo falult or my PC memory problem…?

Welcome to BBB.This can be caused for various reasons.
1. If you are using the id in Yahoo Games it will appear on-line on Yahoo Messenger, if you didn’t change preferences.
2. If you have a bad connection whether it be dial-up or just pure lag created by your internet connection. When you log out it would still take a while to disconnect. I have seen many people who still show as on-line but they logged off several minutes ago, just that it takes a while for it to actually log off.
3. By a slight chance someone else has your password? I seriously doubt this one since they would have probably changed it by now, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure that isn’t happening.
You should try to see if you can send messages to the other name while it shows on-line and see if you get them on the other name. If you don’t get them when you log on the other name, check message archive and if they do not appear, then you are dealing with problem number 2 but if they are there, then it might be number 3.

IF anyone(who is interested)want know about another user I.P addrees so is it just possible during chatting (Online),or offline……?.My second question is that suppose I never chat or depend just at using mails so anyone can know our IP with help our PAST MAILS…?……If anyonw help me so this will be thannkess
