helo, how can i find out what version of g/talk ime using
and if ime not up to date how do i up date to the latest version
It updates automtically, no need to worry.
For the version, right-click the system tray icon and select About.
Spike, I see I have v 1.0.0.99, which doesn’t tell me anything about any update.
But filehippo shows the latest is 1.0.0.100 (which I guess is the same that one would get direct from googletalk.)
So it doesn’t auto-update for everyone…. or perhaps they just don’t bother with “minor” updates ??
It should have updated for you, Ian, I don’t know what happened. Perhaps it has to do with your location, or your connection speed, but I don’t know, I’m not Google, and they work in mysterious ways. 😉
Aha… ok, so I went back now to doublecheck, and blow me down I AM now on 1.0.0.100 – I guess I expect at least some sort of indication when a program updates itself, but indeed Googletalk seems to make its own rules in such things!
But all is well now anyway – for me.
And Biddy, I hope you also are satisfied now !?
mine says GOOGLE TALK
1.0.0.104
Sounds good!
Mine’s the same now, and that IS indeed “the latest” at this time I think it came out about a week ago).
Thanks for reporting back, Biddy.
I hope that – like me – you’re happy with the issue now. 🙂
Oh, this must be a new version that’s come out recently. Check our Google Talk Changelog thread for any changes that have been added!
ime well happy-lol
