I have Win Xp sp2 and here’s the story..i installed trillian pro 2.013. and logged into MSN account there I had one contact blocked which I unblocked and when I relogged, to my surprise it was still blocked…i unblocked and when I signed back it was still blocked….well..i tried doing differnt things like sigining in from MSN original client…uninstalling reinstalling MSN 6.2.0137..etc but none of them worked…that contact remains unblocked as long as I am online…but when I go offline and sign in again it is blocked…now looking at this I tried doing this on my another acc which wasnt “touched” by trillian…but it worked fine there..this only happend with the acc I used with trillian.
why is this and what can be done here that I can permanently unblock….any suggestions ???
Have you tried going to Tools > Options > Privacy in MSN Messenger…In there you will find your ‘Allow list’ and ‘Block list’…If the user that is blocked is in the block list, click on his name and select ‘Allow’…Maybe this will work!
yes I tried it Phil..
it doesnt work this way either…:)
Hm I’m experiencing the same troubles.
Using win2000 + non-Pro version of Trillian…
Now I can’t unblock my contact no matter where I go (Trillian, MSN original, e-messenger.net)
I tried unblocking it and deleting it and re-adding it. But even when freshly re-added, it will appear as blocked.
How frustrating. There must be a way to fix this.. hm..
twlee,
did you by chance, when re-adding the contact to your list, make sure that he/she was NOT on your block list. Make sure the contact is not in your block list when adding him/her.
