I don’t believe you hersshey 😀 Is the folder in the “Graphics” location? Is there anything IN the “harrypotter” folder? Once you have transferred the folder files, do you have the option to choose the skin from “View -> Change Skin”? Elaborate on what does not work from this point.

Is there any other way to fix this?Herssay, actually if u are tryiing to apply tht HARRYPOTTER skin ,it wouldn’t work anyhow, b’coz tht HARRYPOTTER once are for the older versions of yahoo msgr , so if u are trying to apply tht to the 6,0 version it woldn’t work . if u want some cool skins for the 6’0 version u can get some here http://www.skinsgallery.com/gallery/ , download someting tht says for the new version n try wht shifter says , ( i assume u r useing the 6’0 version) it should work then.

For version 6 of Yahoo, skins DO go in the graphics folder… That is the old version 5 that you are talking about. Full Yahoo skins can be found at my site and http://www.skinsgallery.com . I think you are getting the old vs. new skins confused, Yahoo changed it all around with the release of version 6. The old messenger only allowed you to skin certain parts, thats why there are only a few files in the folder. The new one allows you to do a lot more with the borders, buttons etc., except you cannot put a background in the buddy list like in the old one. Also I went to the site you mentioned but I can’t find any skins there.
http://www.skingallery.com is a very nice site, lotsa nice skins but how do u download from tis site?

the site now has yahoo skins…but only one since its part of a suite….i do not have alot of them since i skin a sh*t load of other stuff too….and you dont have to be registered to download anything…..you just need the programs to use them which some are free and soem u have to buy….

and 6 is what im using..”duh” lol..and no it wasnt the harrypotter skin it was other ones..so thanks everyone!
