Hi everyone ,
I really puzzle because I saw someone make their ID look so diffrently I mean how come someone possibly put space in the back or in the front of their name ? I meanthe ID i saw was like this type : ___bigpapa___ another melissar__
I really strugling and curious to find out how do they make those type of ID’s :/ and the other question is ,is it illegal or legal those kind of ID’s ,I hope someone can help me out with this .Ps. sorry for my poor english but i hope everyone understand
These IDs are known as illegal IDs or “illys”.. As far as I know, you can no longer make them and any that you have probably seen in chat rooms were made a while back and/or someone was able to crack the password for that ID. I’ve heard there are certain programs around sites that have some way of making it around the rule of no more then one “_” at a time but I wouldn’t recommend these programs, most have some sort of virus attached to it.
You can’t make illegal IDs. You can’t even log into them normally into Yahoo Messenger (Unless you use a 3rd party client like YahElite).
Help me..it seems to be not a real id it seems to be a nick name in yahoo chat.You first have to check is that really __bigpapa__@yahoo.com….u can make multiunderscore id’s in @sbcglobal.net like @ 2________nali@sbcglobal.net…u can’t make it in yahoo ,yahoo does not alllowed this type of id’s.
HelpMe, I check those 2 IDs that you posting as the sample IDs, they’re not even exist on Yahoo.
Yes, there’s a rumors that you can make ID with consecutive _’s, but they can’t prove that.
If someone telling you that they just make an ID with consecutive _’s, tell them to click the “Member Since” option on they Yahoo ID’s Profile. (most the time they start mumbling when I ask them to do this, lol…)

P.S.: If you using Yahoo Messenger when you saw that kind of ID on chat room, probably you just saw the “Nickname” of the ID.
When Yahoo! and ichat formed in 1996 to 1999 they allowed such id’s to be made.
After which they disallowed them and the word “illegal” stuck to them.
They are not illegal in any form, just a name people put on them.
In nicknames you can put several underscores on it but not the actual ID.

Hey Guys… I saw another Illy’s name which i think this one they crack it what i really dont understand is ,how do they do it ? 🙁 the id’s : l27__ , rough__rider_69 , _pawno_ and actually he still have much more but i think those 3 is enough . i hope you guys knows why and how come yahoo let people to make such an ID’s ??? many thanks in advance.
