It depends if people are on for me. I usually have 6-7 people on, but 5 of them dont talk much. So I only use it it a few times a week.

I really like IM, it’s a great way to talk to people from all walks of life whom you never have met otherwise.

wow now that I think about it, I use instant messengers and this forum everyday after school. it’s also become routine for me. almost scary if you think about it for a sec.

i use it a lot probaly 15 people per hour everyday im home which is proablly 20 days out of a 30 day month 🙂

I don’t IM people up first. The same reason I don’t call people on the phone. I always have this idea that they’re busy or something, and that I’m interrupting something, so I let them IM or call me first and then I’m all ears. If I have something important to say and I don’t have their email, then I’ll IM them, but only if it’s important.

Heh…just today I had my best bud over helping me fix up my mother’s router and there was more talk over IMs in that room than actual speech and we were not 3 feet from eachother, just being stupid.

Haha, I was just looking at this thread because someone brought it back to life. I don’t know what I was thinking/smoking when I wrote that. Very very sad indeed…Oh well, that was in Feb. when I was a youngin.
