ParticipantHello!
In WLM there’s a button for checking how many new incoming mails you have. Since recently after I click on it, it opens login page on brasilian or portuguese language (I am not sure about language but br.msn.com is in address)
I tried to change language settings for mail and Live page but it doesn’t help, everytime clicking on this button opens brasilian page.
It’s not so cosy so I am asking for your ideas
Thanks in advance !November 9, 2009 at 10:49 pm #176192Doris Kenney
ParticipantIs it only when you click the inbox icon or if you go to File / Go to / Email Inbox does it do the same thing?
Are you using any third party programs such as Plus!?

ParticipantThanks for your reply.
I checked it now and the same thing happened with the log-in brasilian page (this page opens in Internet Explorer browser)
I haven’t any additional programs for messenger.
I checked again whether I have my location in Brasil (in Options) – no, I am not in Brasil 😀November 10, 2009 at 7:27 pm #176193Doris Kenney
ParticipantIt should be using the Home Location settings as per your Live ID. Let’s verify your home location, which you can edit here.
Then just to be safe, check the language options on your Hotmail account as per these instructions.
Make sure you are logged out of WLM when you make these changes. After you have verified both, log back in and see if it makes and difference and let me know.

ParticipantI checked my Home location before, I saw it was not Brasil so I didn’t make any changes there.
But after your message I changed it to Austria (just to check what will happened) and voilà – German on that page.
Seems like that location as I had before (it was Antarctica :D) hadn’t any respective login page and that turned me on brasilian… But maybe not, because it has happended just since recently.
So I am going to have my location in some english-speaking country 🙂
Doris, thank you very much for the helpNovember 12, 2009 at 12:33 am #176191Doris Kenney
ParticipantYou are most welcome. Very odd problem, but I’m glad you are all fixed now!!
