How to Check Y!Messenger Buddy Last Login? or get alert when buddy comes online

Is there any possible way by which I can:

1. Check the time and date of the last time a contact on my yahoo messenger buddy list came online???

OR

2. Get any kind of notification/alert (by email or sms) the very moment a contact comes online???

I’d like to know how to do either of these without having to be signed into my yahoo account forever…

I remember coming across such programs quite a while back for msn, wonder if there are any for yahoo.

Try reading post #5 on this thread. I think it keeps logs of who logs in and out and at what times.
