stalking
MemberI have posted before as I was cyberstalked and still I am.
I am trying to put this user-ID permanently on ignore,
I can not. The ignore list doesnt allow to ignore him,
not matter under which ID.
After remooving him from the list he appears again after the next
loggin. Is there any possibilty to ignore him permanently?
Thanks for helping.July 8, 2004 at 9:29 pm #76434tangledlisa
MemberI don’t know why putting him on your ignore list isn’t working. I’m not sure what list your “removing” him/her from. Are they popping up with a different ID after you’ve ignored them? If your having so many problems with this person I’d use the “ignore everyone not on my list” option. IF that doesn’t work, report him – if you’ve exhausted all the options/advice that are listed in the Yahoo FAQ maybe creating a new account will do the trick. Good luck.
Just read this in the forum, maybe it relates to your issue.

MemberUnfortunately I can not neither remoove him from my friend list nor
from any other new created ID. Sometimes I think that there is a ghost after me. But seems that he has found a tool doing that.July 9, 2004 at 5:13 am #76438Raza
MemberIt is quite strange to learn that he/she digs out you every new ID…i dont think this is possible, but you may try this, creat an ID and dont give your “Real” First and Last Name in the respective fields…and disclose this ID to your very trust worthy friends/contacts only, may be he/she is finding your ID everytiem by searching you by youu location or name…and check it out that it isnt one of your close friends…may be somone out of them is just teasing you…..

MemberIf you never talked to this person on messenger privately and had to send them a message you are connected with them. They could have gotten you to connect with them through private message on Yahoo messenger and once they did they could have gotten your ISP number and wrote it down.
Then have it so they could ping you to see if your ISP shows up in Net-stat in the run option on the start button on the computer.
They also could have sent a spyware program that spys on your computer if you had ever downloaded something from them.
Also they could have a program to by pass the accepted requirement when they send a reply to have you accept them to your list.
All he would need is to put a key logger on your computer then get a program to by pass you accepting him on your list and he can easily get on your list of every new name you make even after you delete him off he can put himself back on the same name over and over or even new names you make.
Yes there are programs out there that let you by pass the accepting reply a few of them do actually work, I tried it on myself with a new name I made and it worked.
I will not tell the names of them because that is not what were here for. Also it is against the rules of this forum to tell people how to do illegal things.
Also they could have sent you a Key logger if you ever downloaded something from them. With a Key logger your user name and password gets sent to them and all they have to do is look in the key logger and it will show your new Yahoo name and password. So there they have your new Yahoo username and able to contact you.I don’t know if you ever downloaded anything from them or not. So let us know if you downloaded anything from them or not.

MemberYes I downloaded from this User ID files and at that time I had my firewall down. But 2 weeks ago I reformated my harddisc, installed XP and I deleted every file, I didnt safe one, so I started from ZERO.
I scanned everything, we didnt find any trojan.
But I looged in with my “old ID” and I even sent from this yahoo email account mails to Yahoo abuse and I got back just 1 standard answer.
Now I will close every account again on yahoo, creating a fantasy new one and do a reformat again. This is my last option that I have.
It seems that yahoo support will never be able to help me in this matter and shut the account of this User down.
I am very disappointed that there a so many ways to bypass me and to let them “win who destroyed everything here on my pc” and is holding me away from Yahoo. Is that right?July 10, 2004 at 2:52 pm #76433Jeff Hester
KeymasterOk, I now have added questions to match stalkings if she closes everything and reformatts from her discs , suppose this person got her ip address off her hardrive or created a file in her mainframe work in microsoft won’t they be let back in ?
I could have it all wrong or could they be tracking her on yahoo and have already gotten all the necessary info to keep finding her?
