It all depends on what medium you’re using. Yahoo is the only medium on Trillian that isn’t capable of sending files.
For the default Trillian skin – in an IM conversation (except a Yahoo IM), if you look at the top left hand corner – there will be a little icon that resembles a sheet of paper…
All you have to do is simply click this icon n’ a browsing window will pop up. Select the file you want to send n’ presto.

Another way is to right-click your buddy and select Send File…
Or right-click the file in Windows Explorer and select Trillian: Send File To
