MemberTry grabbing the “corner” of the chat window. You should get a double arrow. Then resize it from that by pushing inward. I hope I understood this question properly.

Memberwhich OS do you use?Check the settings.Sometimes this happens when there are lots of application running on your computer or due to less memory space. Also try increasing your virtual memory.

Memberok here’s the deal… i go in a chatroom but the screen doesnt pop open. i just see it on my taskbar. i proceed to click on it but it wont pop up still so what i do is i right click and RESTORE it. That’s the only way i can get to see my chatroom and the chat screen is the biggest it can get. I want it smaller so i try to drag it from the sides but i cant! i want to make it a smaller window size but all it does is minimize it to my taskbar. it only happens to one of my sn names but when i log on to another…it doesnt.
one more thing….when i dont have ytunnel running, an advertisement to matthewszone.com appears.
this clear yet?May 2, 2003 at 8:41 pm #96717detn8r
ParticipantHow much RAM do you have? I get this sometimes with other apps. as well with Yahoo, and its sometimes due to my RAM problem. (32megs dont go far now a days eh?)

this clear yet? This bothers me, because you shouldn’t be seeing this. Be careful about downloading and using software from a site that offers hacked or cracked stuff, as matthewszone does… You’re never really sure what you’re getting.
It’s also not a problem of RAM… 256 MB is plenty.
Unfortunately, you could spend a lot of time chasing the problem down, but there are so many variables, it’s very difficult to know what the real cause is.
My recommendation in your situation is to first uninstall YTunnel! and Yahoo! Messenger, then download and install a fresh copy of Yahoo! Messenger. I would NOT recommend running any version of YTunnel other than the legit version.

Memberwell i’ll try your tip ok…
thanksJuly 14, 2003 at 2:48 pm #96731irishguy123
Memberbit of a head wreck, when this happens – takes a few secs to fix but can take hours to find out how to do it – here goes…
with yahoo messenger enter a chat room (anyone) and you’ll still see that you can either have the screen full size or not there at all…
minimise all open browser windows (note don’t close them)
so now you should just see your active desktop with all the minimised applications in your task bar at the bottom
in the bottom far right of your task bar you should see the yahoo icon double click on it and a minimised chat room window will appear above it, drag it to the size you want and taht s it
if anyone wants to send me an email to say thanx feel free otherwise im me to thelovemachineshere@yahoo.com
i hope this helped
