I found a site to see AOL profiles

i liked it but sometimes it got a “no profile found” which my friend said he had a profile. so i donno. but it worked most of the time

question is: what do they use to show the profiles? if they just link it through their AOL account, why can’t someone just do it on a geocities site of some sort?

i just went tothat website, and on the bottom of it, it says..
“As many of you think, Aol Profile has been shut down by America online. This is not the case. Prolems wit our hosts are forcing us to move.”

So as you see ths site should be up in no time!

I just went to the website to check it out since I’ve been looking for a site where I can do this also.. it isn’t even a site anymore. What comes up is this error page saying there is no such thing as aol-profile.com Sorry! -Alicia

every time i tried to view a profile i got this error:

“Your request exceded 3 seconds.”

what is that all about>? anyone know how to fix it?

It alyways happens. I do assume that since it uses only one aol account to search profiles that it must be way to much bandwith for the lookup. If the search takes to long it stops.

hmmm i wonder if AOL contacted the sites host or if they just didnt pay the bill because this is the link that comes up in the address bar when i tried to access the site http://gator3.hostgator.com/suspended.page/
