i downloaded MSN 6.2 and it has stored my e-mail addy above the sign in box. this allows auto sign in although I blocked it on options. How can I change this can anyone help?
You want MSN Messenger to log you in automatically? or delete your E-mail address from the login box?
EDIT: gabby- this must be the answer you are looking for? https://bigblueball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11080 🙂
delete e-mail from the log in box so I dont get signed in automatically
Um, DON’T click the box that says “Log me in automaticlly” 😉
Other than that, you probably set your .NET passport to be associated with Windows as well. Delete all emails as directed from the link Brian posted, and just make sure you do not click log me in automaticlly, or choose associate this email with Windows.
thx everyone I tried that it still aint working . My sign in address still appears on the sign in box. I even deleted the program and reinstalled but it still comes up ..ANYONE PLEASE???
When you go to remove email address, you need to also delete the one that says “Passport.Net* (Passport)” as that’s the one that’s saving your email address.
thank you detn8r you are a genius xxxxxxxxxxxx
No problem. Glad to see you satisfied.
