Member“AIM service can’t be reached” Look I know you guys are tired of getting these darn posts on the forums, but the people getting these errors really need help, especially me. I have been to dozens of forums, and they all tend to never reply to my posts, obviously becuase too many people get these errors. And I’ve searched a plethora of posts with my same problem, but none have helped me. When I install my older version of AIM I use “auto configure” to find a port that works, and it finds 88 which does work. Now thats on my version 4.8.2790 but on the newest version of AIM it doesn’t connect. And when I use “auto configure” on the new version it doesn’t find any available port.
And it’s not just my AIM that doesn’t work, i’ve got msn, yahoo, trillian and none of those work either… it’s really odd. Most likely I won’t find out how to fix all my messengers, but I hope I can atleast fix my aim.
ps- on my working aim (4.8) I can’t direct connect…. 🙁
