some blocked because of an isp error. and one off my id(s) blocked yesterday because i wanted to boot a person:D
so tell me, i want my id !IMHO, if you booted someone you SHOULD NOT be allowed back on. It’s just not right. Sorry. It’s just not right to boot people, because a lot of innocent people get booted in the crossfire. But i know that yesterday there were many problems as one of my friends, she does not even know how to boot, was blocked. But, there was also some talk that someone else was blocking her id, is that even possible?? Or was it just Yahoo being Yahoo?
i know that i shouldn’t boot other but someone booted me more times and i tried to boot him for one time :(( , that was a voice bomb but i got dc and my id blocked .

so tell me, i want my id !Its about time Yahoo is taking some action with booting. I think they should team up with the booters ISP, and suspend them of on-line time of a week or so. Maybe then, it will show the lil buggers that its wrong.
What do they say when you try and log in? Password not accurate? No such account? “Your blocked for booting? 😀 Depending on the message it gioves you when trying to log in, it I guess can happen. Give it a week or so?? Try it again. Write an appoligy letter to Yahoo! explaining your position, and asking for your account back?
Tell us the message it gives you when trying to log in.Maybe you should make a bumper sticker that says “Booting is Not a Crime.” Obviously, Yahoo feels otherwise.

about my booting ! i said i booted a person for first time in my life! he booted me as more as you think! booting is a habit for this people that i chated with them…Maybe you should do as the others say….first write and ask what happened (just in case it was JUST Yahoo! being Yahoo!) If they say it was from booting apologize, explain the situation, that it was your first time… (and everyone says nothing can happen your first time! This proves it can;)) and perhaps you can work something out with the company. Also, know with whom you are chatting. It IS really fun to chat with new people from new places over the Internet. But the unfortunate truth is that some of these people are not whom they claim to be, and they NOT friends nor are the friendly (even if they act that way) And as many a rule says, treat people as you would want to be treated… Good Luck getting your ID back. 🙂

Sad thing is, you will loose any emails, and such that may have been saved, unless Yahoo! has it all saved, which I highly doubt.
Try not using your ID for few days.Dont try to login.Leave it as is it.These may solve your problem.
I think that there is a definite boot going around with ID’s. I have just had this happen to me. I was sent in IM, even though I have them blocked…just not from the same room, and I did not get to see who sent it, b/c I was thrown off of Yahoo! Then I tried to get on again and I was denied, yet I can access my mail with the same nicks. I just wrote Yahoo! Abuse, but I want all of you to know that they are out there. So, Distorter, you may well have been hacked, bombed, booted, etc… by the very people you were trying to get yourself. I wrote Yahoo!, we shall see what comes of THAT.

thanks for your ideas. i think its better that i write my problem for yahoo meybe they can return back my id to me !i think it’s just a problem with yahoo. i’m having the same problem with an id i hardly ever used. i don’t boot nor have i tried, i didn’t do anything to violate the yahoo tos. and i can log into messenger with my other ids with no problem.
i just logged into messenger with my id, started adding my friends from my old id and then when i refreshed messenger it logged me out. i tried to log back in but kept getting the ‘invalid pw’ box. over and over and over again. i can log into mail and games(i’m in games now under the id) but with messenger, it’s not working.
i’m guessing…..and hoping…….this is just a problem with yahoo as more and more people seem to be having this problem. i don’t think all those people violated the tos, nor do i think there is a virus or anything similar going around causing this or the status problem mentioned in another thread. i think it’s just yahoo having a problem or messing with the servers.
here’s a lil interesting side note that happened to me earlier tonight. i could see someone logging off messenger(you know, the status box at the bottom right of the screen). well, this person wasn’t on my friend list nor have i ever talked to her. so i sent her a message and we started talking…….i wasn’t even on her f-list either. a lil while later i notice she was now appearing on my list, however i didn’t add her and she didn’t add me either. but somehow she’s on now. strange!

lol fate had you meet someone, well fate and yahoo messing up hehe. Never know maybe this will be your future wife someday hehe. I hope they fix it too, i was talking to a friend on Mirc last night and he was talking about different problems he had been having with yahoo, all of which i had seen talked about on here so i told him about what was said on here. I havnet had any problems yet though *knocks on wood* hopefully i wont.
