AOL is now testing a new version of ICQ Lite that lets you send and receive messages with AOL 8.0 or AIM 5.1 users (or vice versa). ICQ and AIM users can add each other to their respective buddy lists and send instant messages without requiring two accounts. Nice huh?
They’ve also created some new smileys, and finally are converting text smileys 🙂 to emoticons.
Here are the new emoticons:

Being able to chat with your buddies from AIM on ICQ Lite is a wonderful thing though I dislike being on AIM 4.8 and above.
The only thing I believe needs to be worked on is to allow ICQ and AIM users to send files through both clients. I know AOL is in its early BETA testing now.
I have asked a friend on AIM to give me a warning, but she was unable to send me any warnings, which I think is great.
i saw and tested the program 2 but, there are so many advertisement that i can barely see where i should type … 🙁
