AOL’s ICQ launched a new Friendster-like social networking service titled ICQ Universe. It basically lets you create a network of friends or associates, and if they do the same, you can begin to see the connections and relationships between people.
Social networking is currently considered a “hot topic” on the net. Have you tried ICQ Universe? Will you?

I just joined the ICQ Universe, but I have to wait for someone else to accept me in.
Yes, I am member of several social-networking sites like Ringo.com (now Tickle.com), Friendlzy.com, NetFriendships.com, Friendster.com and one more, I cannot think what it is at the moment. Ringo.com/Tickle.com is the only one I have my old and current friends in my social network.
EDIT: I was googling up to find the names that I have forgotten about: MySpace.com, Tribe.net and FriendSurfer.com. I intend to delete my free membership with those and keep Tickle.com.
