Someone on my buddy list has an idle time that is longer than his online time. How is this possible? Does this mean he is using an instant idler program?
Your friend could have been disconnected while they were idle, then AIM reconnected them. Their idle time that is shown is how long they’ve actually been idle. The online time is how long their SN has been on since AIM reconnected.

This is correct. Otherwise, yes, they are using instant idler.
yeah, my idle time is 40 days (my away message is “in the desert”) and my online time is whatever. Of course its an instant idler, or an add-on that includes an instant idler.
Well not really because it turns your off like my friend was on for like 5 days, 12 hours, 30 mins then he had been idle for like 17 hours, 14 mins it logged him out like it does most the time after idle for 3 hours and then he logged back in and it said online for 1 min idle for 17 hours 15 mins…
