MemberThis will eliminate most of the attacks on computers running on Windows XP, but unfortunatly, I am aware of a manual way to do this, without using a trojan like this patch blocks. Thank you for informing us though.

MemberI was hit by the Blaster Virus on Wednesday night, and had hard time starting the PC back on until I was given no choice but was forced to reformat the PC to remove the virus manually. Thanks goodness, I didn’t lose anything stored in the PC.
It is very important, if you have not updated your Windows O/S, it is recommended that you keep it updated through http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and if you have Anti-Virus programs, be sure to update it as well.

MemberOne of my OS’s is actually Linux. So, if I need to repair Windoze or something, I can log onto root in there and follow the fix instructions that are everywhere on the net. Pain when it’s like a randomly named file or something…..That’s what virus scanners are for anyhow.
