If I delete a friend from my list and put them on ignore will they still see me as online when im online? or do they see me as off line? I know I wont get boxes from them but I want to know will they still see me..

i found out the answer looking at the yahoo help from my friends list….in explaining how to ignore a user point 5 is5.Click OK at the bottom of the window. You will now always appear offline to this person.
so that answers my question !
BUT
If someone says theyve deleted me and ignored me and yet I still see them online….do I assume they havent in fact put me on ignore?
if thay use ytunnel and put you in super ignore and deleted you from there list then you will still see them as online but if thay ignored you on messenger then you wont see them as online
Ok, MrM, I’m a little confused as to what you are doing. On ALL messengers except the new Beta 6.0, if you remove someone from your list, and put them on ignore, it only affects how YOU see them. It does NOT affect how they see you. To them you will still be on their list, still show status messages, and still show as available/invisible.
So I’m not sure what your second question is. When someone deletes you and puts YOU on ignore, the same thing happens. It does not affect your list at all.
The only way to do that is to use a “remove a buddy” program which actually removes you from someone elses list.
