A user (known as vb_packets) is illegally distributing a modified version of res_msgr.dll (which is copyrighted by Yahoo) in a topic on the forums in the Yahoo section (I didn’t mention it to the person that it was illegal in the topic). I suggest the entire topic be deleted and the user told not to distribute illegally modified versions of copyrighted files (I suspect he doesn’t know distributing/modifying that file is illegal, or he’s doing anything wrong).
Thoughts?

Personally, I’d rather keep the topic open and just add a note, preferably copying the text from the Yahoo TOS that restricts redistribution of their code so that people who see it understand that what he is doing does break the TOS. In reality, I don’t think Yahoo is going to care much, but if they do, I’m sure they’ll let him know.
I agree, thanks. =)
So long as he’s not uploading here and posting, don’t want to get involved in DMCA takedown stuff.
