I'm new to Trillian!!

Hey, I only just downloaded trillian recently, and i’m wondering how i can use AIM on it, if y’know what i mean, or talk to my AIM buddies on it. I’m not quite sure: anybody got any tips?

Hi deedee4 and welcome to the BigBlueBall! I know there are a few folks here who can answer any question you have, they’re just not available at the moment. But check back! They should be here in just a few hours and will be able to point you in the right direction.

In the meantime; have a look around, spend some time playing in the arcade or reading the off topics, or check out the AIM section. Or you can do a search for the trillian information as well using the function in the blue bar towards the top of the page, sort of to the right end of the bar.

Of course you can talk to your AIM buddies on it! First, go (this is in a menu) to Trillian >> Preferences. Your preference window should pop up. Now, go to ‘Identities and Connections’. Next, click on “Add A New Connection” and choose AIM then simply add your AIM info in and press connect.

And to add your AIM buddies, go to the “Trillian” menu at the top of your contact list, then choose “Add a contact”.
