I just recieved this email. It really sucks. It states:

Let us start by saying thank you for signing up and using imForwards. We hope that you love the ONLY mobile IM service that works with just texting and universally across most wireless networks. Providing a unique service like this requires a lot of time, energy and frankly, money to operate. Although we are not happy to do this, it has come time where if we do not charge a nominal service fee, the service may cease to exist entirely. Based on this, we will no longer be giving out free service to anyone except those who are currently paid subscribers (or donated, thanks!).
As a limited time offer (next 7 days), existing imForwards users can pay only $24.95 for one year use of the service. All new users or those who need to re-activate an old account after it is turned off will have to pay $49.95.
Our hope is that you will understand the need to charge as we want to continue to support the people who truly get value with the service.

i think its a fake email, well c’mon if they will charge money you might as well quit the company and switch
