I just got Instant Idler and it doesn’t work. I use the Insant Idler for AIM 5.2, I use AIM 5.2 and it doesn’t work…i’ve followed the directions (I’m not stupid)
Any help?I’m using AIM 5.2.3292 and http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~dorschd/files/InstantIdler52.zip works fine.
First thing is you should open your buddy list window, and then Instant Idler and click to ‘go idle’, check weather you are idle or not after waiting a few seconds.
Sometimes it doesn’t work for me and I restart AIM, then try again.

What really would be helpful if you could tell us what errors you get on the program?
I also use AIM 5.2 and it will not work for me.I don’t get any error message… and it says “ok, you are idle”, but it isn’t really working. I have my own name on my list, and I don’t appear idle.
Ok nevermind… stupid me. I went into options and I didn’t “allow others to see how long i’ve been idle” LOL
Works fine now…

Well.. I did everything that you guys said to do and I even check to make sure I had it on allow others to see how long ive been idle.. still doesn’t work.. im using the Newest AIM 5.9
try Middle_Man
it has instant idler..
