I am not saying I am in the Bill Gates fan club…I am somewhat indifferent to him… but…what’s wrong with blocking booters?? I have no problem with that! Block away when it comes to them!

sometime this happens when someone try to break your password by random guessing or if the person have more than 4 alias of same ID.:eek:
I have lost several yahoo ids the same way. Invalid login and never could get them to log back on. Someone told me about cheeta chat . Now thats the only way i go into chat. My yahoo id is not working in yahoo messenger and also in yahoo web chat. But the user name and password is okay. I can check my e-mail and also I can update my profile. Only while i am trying to log into Yahoo Messenger it says invalid user name and password. My internet has fixed IP so I try to get online from other computer which got modem connection. But it gave me same kind problem. I uninstall my yahoo messenger and ytunnel both from my system and re install new yahoo messenger but nothing work for that perticular id of mine. But funny thing is while I am tryiing to get online with other id it working nice. Now if anybody have any idea about these kind problem please write me any solution if you know. iam unable to loginon messenger giving error : invalid user (remember its not give error like invalid username & password) iam able to login on yahoo mail. iahve email to yahooo and they give reply same as YOGI got. well a dont understand booter??? what is booter could u plz tell me…
so i got banned i think… well when will be it reactive my account??

Yahoo has several reasons for this … here are a few
If your account says locked for security reasons … DON’T try to access it …
Yahoo LOCKS accounts and will sends a SYSTEM notice message in a PM
If there are too many unauthorized attempts to access your account … Yahoo locks it … this is to protect it … NOTHING will open it … don’t bother with the link in the system notice … Yahoo states password changes may take 24 hours and that link just compounds the problem … Just wait 24 hours
Note to users : You notice that NEW blue report abuse button above send … if you scroll … run a booter … violate the law … cuss or abuse chatters … among other things … and Yahoo recieves a report threw that link … A legal copy of the chat room transcript will be sent to Yahoo and they have USA courts legal permission to use this new technology and the account can be deactivated or banned … if your password works on your … Yahoo_mail or … Account_Info … but not Messenger … If the error you get says … the user id or password are incorrect / invalid … You have a CHAT BAN only … One of two things happened … you got booted or disconnected and logged in again right away and the new program technoligy GLITCHED … Or … you violated Yahoo Terms Of Servic and Yahoo’s new programing got youYahoo Chat Bans can last from days up to 4 months … it depends on the violation
i think this problem is already solved by yahoo this was the global problem for few weaks even i heard something like the few yahoo servers were down during that period for maintenance and the services were cut down to minimise the load.
whats the maximum period of ban??? im not able to access my acc since like 4 months. do they ban acc’s forever?? hope not!!
My problem is being done by someone with a program i believe. i just wish there was a program that blocked someone from using that program on MY account. it’s making me sick to have to use like 5 different names just because someone is too coward-ish to confront me, and instead takes the easy way out and just locks my account up!! does anyone know of a counter program to use against it? i was also thinking that since this person does it from yahoo chat, maybe i would be able to go into chat under something like cheeta chat, and they wouldnt be able to do it? im not sure if this would work or not… im just desperate to find a way to stop them from locking up my account!! any suggestions??? Well there are lots of account lockers and reason to have your account locked almost anyone can get your account ,its really very simple I am not going to say how its done but you can lock and account without a program . but anyway Yahoo can block you for ever for TOS or if you used the account to boot yahoo is cracking down on the booters and taking Ids aways for booting , To the best of my knowledge thier is no way to stop the account locker programs .
