Invisible Users

Is there a way to program your yahoo! messenger to detect wether a user is invisible or not.

Yes , there is way by which u can chk whether a person is invisinle or not, right click on the user –> Invite to conference , if he is actually not present , it will show ” User not available ” .

I was thinking more of a way to detect when someone is online while they’re on your buddylist, whether they’re invisible or not.

I do agree with you tomsbbb. Most of the time when I connect to yahoo, I do it in invisible mode not to be seen by my buddies (I want to choose the moment I’m available for tchatting)

If one could see me even if I don’t want to, than I would consider it as some kind of violation of my liberty !
