Does anyone use Trillian to connect to IRC? I know I can use mirc, and I do.
Is there a way to make trillian irc the defualt medium when searching for files from site like Packet News and IRC spy? Currently when I click on a packet #, it will automatically launch Mirc via those sites mentioned above.
Yes, I use Trillian to connect to IRC and it works fine.
When you say packet #, I assume that your mean an IRC channel link such as irc://irc.bigblueball.com/bigblueball ? Trillian does currently not support clickable IRC links, but Trillian Pro may support them soon through the url:IM plugin. This plugin currently supports AIM, ICQ, Jabber and Yahoo.
