ugh, can’t pick my own buddy icon, aim doesn’t close in the task tray the first time, when aim is finally closed out, aolsoftware.exe still runs in the processes taking up a lot of free memory, can’t pick the font i want… this is just a few of the problems. i hate it.
it sucks big time and i cant get rid of the aol thing. when you try to change names it won’t connect. it gives none of the options like aim 5.9 does. it’s worthless.
Triton does suck big. I hate how I have the AOL Explorer on the computer, hate how there are only 5 fonts to choose from, hate how there aren’t any background colors, hate how the buddies don’t gray out when they go idle, hate how there are too many menus and it looks so sloppy
The only neat feature about Triton is how the AIM chat and IM windows all are in the same tabs, otherwise AIM Triton is flat out garbage.
I don’t even care about that… but I don’t use AIM enough to need to tab windows, I guess. All I can do is hope AOL doesn’t make users update.
I deleted it and reinstalled the previous version.
I tried it while it was in BETA, thank god then they didn’t put the “no kill” feature in. I thought it sucked then. But now…AOL just want’s your computer. There is NOTHING of value given. And so many fools will use it without realizing the dangers ever.
