Ok, I have two screen names that I use. One that I pass out to family members and one I just use for friends only. However, I have an ex of mine that is listed on both. we go through the whole not talking talking phase with each other (We broke up almost 8 years ago.. long story) Anyway, we are currently in the not talking to each other phase right now, may last this time actually. Anyway, I want to keep his screen name for the sake of maybe we will recontact each other again, who knows, we do this often. Anyway, on one of my screen names he will be online with his away message showing, but if I go into my other screen name he shows as being offline altogether. Is this because he has that screen name blocked or something? Just curious
And I checked the search and couldnt find anything (maybe I used wrong search terms) so sorry if this is answered somewhere already

Yes, when a user is online, but does not appear online to a certain screen name it means that you have been blocked by the user.
First, this is all assuming that you aren’t blocking him in any way on either of your SNs……
Yes, he is blocking you in some way, but it may not be intentional. It is possible that he only kept one of yours on his buddy list and he has his list set to allow only buddies.
