“Username” is now signed into AOL(R) Instant Messenger (TM) in 2 locations. I only get this every once in a while, not often at all. The thing is, I think my EX has my password and I am wondering if there’s any way I could find out if anyone is actually using my AIM screen name?
Chances are that if you are using this, than someone really is using your screename also. But this message can also be caused by AIM programs using your account, AIM cloning, being on AIM with a cell phone while being on the computer, being on AIM Express while being on AIM, Being on a 3rd party messenger along with AIM, and other cases where your screename might be logged in more than once.
i woke up this morning and it said my name was signed in from 4 different locations.
im pretty dang sure no one has my password
IM AOLSYSTEMMSG to see if someone is on your screenname, you can also boot the person off by IMing that screenname, its a new feature that AOL put in so not too many people know about it I guess. You can’t really tell if someone is using your screenname…but you can get them to get kicked off then. And bronxy theres hackers out there that find your password so it might not be people that you know that are on your screenname.
Hope that helps a little,

might as well change it to be sure
