Hm, that’s odd. It’s fixed again. Is Jeff that quick, or is there a bug that makes it show up blank sometimes?

But I agree, it’s ok again now.

(But actually I could go for weeks with it blank up there and never notice!)

i’ve never seen it blank before but I will keep my eyes on it and if it happens again I will let you know.

speaking of the bbn… what exactly is fdnot.com? the only content there is a small block of text, just the site address. what… is supposed to be there?

and i noticed the blank banner, and it’s back to normal now. perhaps it was being updated?

heh, sorry. i should have been clearer. from the bigblueball network page, at the bottom, under the heading of “musings” is a link to fdnot.com. which… isn’t active, apparently.

Spike, thanks for posting this. This happened on Thursday night, too! I’m not sure why, and as I was in the process of sorting it out, it started working again.

I’d like to ask that if anyone sees this problem again, please post a notice here. Maybe I’ll be able to discover what’s wrong if a pattern emerges.

As for FDnot, dig a little deeper. 😉

Actually, there is NO questionable content actually on FDnot.com. It is a wiki, but occassionally get spammed with links to other sites. If you see something inappropriate, feel free to edit it.

Why have you started a wiki that nobody knows about, that isn’t linked to anywhere, and which frequently gets spammed with *ahem* well, you know. I just don’t see the point.
