After 7+ years, one of the original personal webcam sites on the net, JenniCam.org is planning to close. Read more here, then come back and add your comments.
Oy, this makes me feel like such a n00b… I’d never even heard of JenniCAM before reading this article. Still sad to see a real frontiersman like that go, though.

This is the best article yet about JenniCam’s demise, from her hometown Sacramento Bee.
The Bee confirmed that Paypal is indeed shutting down her account because of their policy against adult content. Interesting, especially since the site’s been up since 1996 and received TONS of publicity. Did they just make the connection?
