kicked off AIM

when ever I leave my computer on and not mess with it for like a couple hours I get kicked off Aim does anybody know why this is?

Is your computer set to shut down the hardrive when it goes into sleep mode? If it is, then AIM will shutdown also. To disable the hardrive from shutting off, go to Control Panel > Power Options >> Turn off Hardisks: >>> And set to “Never”
