Linking to Yahoo Messenger

This may be a silly question (if so it won’t be the first), but I would like to put a link to my yahoo on my space so someone could just click on a link if they have their yahoo messenger open, and it would automatically link to me. Is this possible?

Whether it’s an image link or a text link, here’s how I do it:

This opens a new browser window that says “Yahoo! Messenger will now open an IM window with yotaketonka Please wait…”

Then a dialog box pops up and asks me if I want to open Yahoo! Messenger (if it’s not already running) so I click yes. Then I can send a message to myself to see if it works.

a ymsgr:sendim?entrerri would work as well, that way it would automatically shell messenger.
