Live Messenger – way too many problems

Despite a re-install, I’m still having problems with Live Messenger. I can’t see my contacts’ avatars, or their custom smileys. I’m unable to send or receive files, and webcams just don’t work.

I’ve been forced to use Yahoo Messenger which is much better, but a lot of my contacts still use MSN. I would like to get this fixed pronto. So whose butt do I need to kiss around here to get some help on this?

try useing msn messenger 7.5

Do you use zone alarm for a firewall?

Yes I use Zone Alarm Security Suite 6.5

I’m not sure about that, Zone Alarm is causing the display picture problem though, no question about it.
