You know how when you hovor over a buddies screen name you get the Service and Capabilities thing? It may be a stupid question but it bugs me because I have Windows XP and it says Live Video and I tried going to Prefrences and Not Allowing it. but it still stays there. I don’t want it to be shown there. Is there anyway of taking it out or tricking AOL Instant Messenger into thinking you have an older version of Windows? Because it seems like only Windows XP people have Live Video in their capabilities.. you can reply to this post or IM me at xSouthSide101 thanks!
Try using reshack to find out where it is located and just delete it. I don know where it is because I have windows me and therefore do not know where that image is in reshack.
Nevermind it didnt work.. People said they can still see Live Video in my capabilities .. I guess reshack just took it off MY buddylist.
I tried it too and mine doesn’t go away either. Other features I have turned off like “Send buddylist” dont come up but live video still does. Maybe AOL forgot?
Can you please create your own topic about that? I’m still wanting to know how to get it out of my capabilities.. I can “Don’t Allow” everything else and it all goes away except Live Video.. and it annoys me..
