We have a lot of posts in the AIM section going unanswered, as you’ll see when you click the “Posts with no replies” link in the right-hand column.
Do we need to recruit additional staff with AIM expertise? How do we address this issue?
I answered some the best I could. AIM hasn’t been my area for a long time now, but I don’t see much other than Jon (who does a great job. :)), and Tigerblade when he’s around.
Yeah, I’ve been AFK for a while and want to fix that ASAP–thanks for covering, Dave. I can think of one person that I can give a seal of approval on for knowledge and professionalism. He’s a moderator on the middle_man forums and was a moderator at the AIM+/Big-O-Software forums since the beginning. His user name on middle_man forums is “Matt”…I guess you could check out some of his posts and then shoot him an email if you think he would be a good addition to the team.

Should you choose to ask him to be part of the team, please copy and paste this post of mine so that he knows I (jon8rfc) volunteered him and gave his email address specifically for the potential to be a staffer to help in the AIM section. I can’t think of anyone else at the moment, but I strongly think Matt would be an asset.
