Congratulations to our Member of the Month for April: TigerBlade. He has been an active member since August 2003, and consistently contributed quality posts. Who is TigerBlade? I asked a few questions to find out more about him.
How did you find out about BigBlueBall? What made you stay?
As far as I can remember, I found out about BBB when I was trying to fix my AIM (this was right after I first signed up for AIM)… I don’t remember what the problem was anymore, probably something trivial. As for what made me stay, the members are generally nice, informative, and helpful even to newbies…Why did you choose TigerBlade as your username?
Tigerblade is the screenname I came up with trying to think of a more creative AIM sn. I love white tigers, and I’d just seen the movie Blade a few hours before, so… put the two together… bada boom bada bing.How many years have you been using computers? What do you with your computer?
I’ve been working with and on computers since I can remember… I love computers and what they can do. I’m mostly into web design, Windows/AIM modifications, etc…How long have you been instant messaging?
Believe it or not, only about two years now, since I started college. At home I’m on a modem, so it wasn’t practical for me, especially when I saw my friends every day at school anyway.What is your favorite instant messenger?
AIM all the way… even though AOL is evil. Still runnning 5.2, I don’t like the new version.What is your favorite BigBlueBall forum?
I’m usually checking out the AIM forum and the new Computer Help forum, but Random Ramblings is fun too.What do you do when you’re not online?
*GASP* WHAT??? NOT ONLINE??? well… school takes a lot of time, and hanging out with my buddies, etc…What are your favorite movie, book and song?
Movie – the original Matrix, hands down. Book – Lord of the Rings trilogy (ok ok its three books…). Song – currently “One Thing” by Finger Eleven, or “My Immortal” by Evanescence.Anything else you would like to add?
