And yet another drumroll…………
Our Member of the month for August 2004 is:Congratulations Charles! You too have now joined the club of BBB members who exemplify what BBB is all about. Charles has been a member here since March 2003, and anyone who has lasted that long deserves a pat on the back ;). Thank you for being a helpful and fun member Charles.
Q: How did you find out about BigBlueBall? What made you stay?
A: From what I can remember, I had found BBB on Google. I was searching for something regarding AIM and DeadAIM working together(it may have been when JDennis started charging) I ended up coming back and reading posts in my spare time, eventually I joined and started posting.Q: Why did you choose “Charles” as your username?
A: Originally my username was Shizna69, and that was part of an inside joke between me and a few friends. Since then, I had Jeff change it to Charles, I guess cause it was my name.Q: How many years have you been using computers?
A: I’d say about 9 years. I got my first 66 MHz machine when I was 5 and have loved ’em ever since…Q: How long have you been instant messaging?
A: 4 or 5 years…I first got on IM back ’99 or in 2000 when some of my friends starting using it.Q: What is your favorite instant messenger and why?
A: Trillian– it is way better than any of the others. Ad-free, spyware free, simple, and pretty with the right skin. Plus, I can use it without my friends switching messengers too, so it just works for me.Q: What is your favorite BigBlueBall forum section and why?
A: Hmm…I’d have to say either the AIM forum or ‘Random Ramblings’. The AIM forum always has a new question that needs to be answered. And you never know what you are gonna get with the RR forum…Q: What do you do when you’re not online?
A: Considering I am online 24/7 (excluding school), I usually watch some sort of TV or read a book. Every once in a while I’ll hang out with friends at the boardwalk or play on the Xbox.Q: Anything else you would like to add?
A: Wow, I am surprised at this…I just wanna say thanks to everybody for making BBB awesome. Jeff, this is on helluva site you have…and thanks to the mods for keeping BBB friendly. 🙂welcome to the club, charles! *thumbs up* Way to go Captain Chase. (I told you that was your new name from me, so don’t think I wont use it! *wink*) You’re an elite member of the “Why did she give me this name” club, along with N8R and Davie. Yes, our club…we have jackets. Hah. But congradulations.
And Maximus, no worries, we’re in the same boat, but hey, it doesn’t bother me one bit. We’re useless but we have fun anyway! Heheh.
