Today I realized when someone adds me to their list, my real name comes up!!!!!!! Where do i change that and how did it get there? My name is nowhere on my yahoo ID. Someone help!
Ok, it seems to me that when I went to add someone, you have a choice of a name to send the request from. UGH. So my whole name is there. I wonder why yahoo puts it there. You need to change it every time you go to add someone. BAD. Is there a way around this so I dont have to keep changing it manually? Anyone?
Go into your Yahoo mail account, pick mail options and then account information. Look to see if you have your full name there. I think this is where it gets it from, as I don’t see any option in messenger itself. There’s really no need to have your name in there, I simply have my name as “Amy G”. Try changing that, and let us know if it works.
Amy thanks. Thats exactly where it came from. I changed it. WHew.. stupid feature.
