Messenger plus – spyware???

hey people
I downloaded Messenger plus (latest ver beta)!!! I installed it and for some reason ran my Webroot spy sweeper!!! After a few misn of scan I saw it indicating
Spyware Found: messenger Plus
any body got a clue about this!!! please shall I keep it or remove it!!!

Before you downloaded the beta, did you put a check mark to accept the agreement with the sponsors which may be the reason you had spywares?

well brian
When I downloaded and install the beta, It asked me about the sponsor agreement but i unchecked the box, i.e. I didnt install the sposor program but only messenger plus!!!

Messenger Plus! is not spyware. If you do not install the sponsor you will have no spyware or adware related to it. If you want to remove Plus go right ahead. But it is completely spyware free.
