Have any stories about meeting your favorite artist/band?? Last summer I was lucky enough to meet Gavin DeGraw & Maroon 5. (Great guys!!) Now that the summer concert series has been announced here I can’t wait to try to win backstage passes to a few.

Haven’t actually met anyone, but when Big Wreck played here, Ian Thornley accidently bumped into me in the bar. I didn’t realize it was him until after, but he did say “Sorry man”.

Oh man, I have met my favorite artists many times. It’s wonderful. I’m acutlaly going to hang out with one of the bands on the first of May which happens to be Rise Against. I also met Strung Out and got lots of their free stuff they gave to me. They are really nice guys, I like them a lot and Rise Against is also way nice too so we are going to go out after the show and hang out. I feel so lucky! =P

Well I have lots of favorite bands but, I like Metallica. I saw them live in concert at Summer Sanitarium last summer. That was the first time I saw James Hetfield the lead singer of Metallica live. They were awesome, but I didn’t really like their new album St. Anger. I like their older stuff though.

Well, its closer than just watching the concert. [:P] I think any close encounters can fit, but just seeing a band play live isn’t very interesting to read about. At least give us a story or something. Evan could have told us why he would have met Refused if they were still around. Perhaps El Diable could have elaborated more on why that Metallica concert felt like a meeting. It should at least loosely fit into the topic. Humour me. 😀

Yes I have. I met Dave Matthews Band in Boston on my Birthday. Two years ago, I think. LOL I’m losing my mind, anyway. Yeah. I was lucky enough to meet the whole band. I’m so happy. After I shook Dave’s hand, I was all, “I’m never washing this hand again”. Haha. It was funny.
